My review of Seirus Range gloves

For years I used and loved my Hestra gloves and felt they were the perfect match. But earlier this season I noticed some tearing at the seams and know I would need to replace them.

After a decent search online, although not too overwhelming and extensive, and some word of mouth conversation with my friends and teammates, I decided to try a new pair of Seirus Range gloves, black with red trim.

They felt very comfortable, warm and toasty, but of course they will be warm and toasty inside. The test is getting them outside into action in the elements, and the real test is getting them wet, outside and in the elements.

So we went. My first use of the Seirus Range gloves was a short trip to Tahoe. Staying at a friend’s house we had the weekend at Heavenly.

It was moderately cold today but not crazy. High of 41 but the wind was blowing, making it seem colder. The test was on!

Toasty — at this temp hands super warm — even a bit toasty and sweaty.

Kept dry — I buried them in the snow and let it melt in — no interior dampness.

Comfort — excellent!

Overall I can say these gloves are nice, and are a worthy replacement for my old trusty Hestra’s.
